On Thursday, June 14, 2018 the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics Investigations Unit, New Hampshire State Police S.W.A.T. Unit, along with members of the Northfield Police Department, executed search and arrest warrants at 55 Ledge Road in the Town of Northfield. The warrants were executed after a multi-month narcotics investigation conducted by the State Police Narcotics Investigations Unit involving sales of fentanyl and methamphetamine. State Police arrested 41-year-old Joshua Cross of Northfield, NH for sale of a narcotic drug, possession of narcotic drug with intent to distribute and felon in possession of a firearm:
Cross was held on $25,000.00 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on June 15, 2018 at Merrimack Superior Court.
Paul Costella, 45 of Franklin NH was also located at the residence and subsequently taken into custody for violating the terms of probation:
Costella was held on a 72 hour probation hold at the Merrimack County House of Corrections.
During the search of the residence, suspected fentanyl and two handguns were located.
