New London Hospital Implements Digisonics
New London Hospital has implemented Digisonics structured reporting system for their Radiology department. Users can now quickly create structured reports, that referring physicians prefer, for both OB Ultrasound and General Ultrasound studies at New London Hospital and Newport Health Center. The reporting system Interfaces to New London’s GE ultrasound machines that automatically transmits patient demographics and measurements directly into the Digisonics report, improving overall reporting accuracy and streamlining the clinical workflow. Cavendish VT Man Arrested As Fugitive from Justice
A Cavendish VT man was arrested yesterday by Springfield VT police for outstanding VT and NH arrest warrants. Benjamin J. Gramling was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility in Lieu of $5,000 bail on the VT warrant, and $30,000 bail on the NH warrant.
Franklin Police Department Winter Parking Ban
The Franklin Police Department reminds residents and visitors of their 2017-2018 Winter Parking Ban. All night parking on any city street is prohibited from Nov. 1st – April 30th between the hours of 9:00 PM and 6:30 AM during snowstorms or snowplowing operations by the city or its agents during snow removal. In addition parking in any public parking area is prohibited between 11 PM – 6:00 PM. between Nov. 1st and April 30th. Any vehicle found to be violating these ordinances will be subject to fines and/or towing at the owner’s expense.
NH Fugitive Arrested Near Canadian Border
A NH fugitive was arrested near the Canadian Border shortly before 5:30 PM yesterday. Vermont State Police said they responded to the US Canadian Border on I-89 in Highgate VT after US Customs Agents took Nathan Herling of Manchester NH into custody after being denied entry into Canada. Herling was transferred to the custody of Vermont State Police who confirmed Herling did have an active extraditable arrest warrant out of Merrimack County, NH for Burglary and Receiving Stolen Property charges.
Herling was transported to the St. Albans State Police Barracks for processing and lodged at Northwest State Correctional Facility as a Fugitive from Justice. He is being held on $5,000 bail until his arraignment today in Franklin County Criminal Court.
Forever Locked Coming to Flying Goose Pub
Forever Locked is coming to the Flying Goose Pub in New London on Friday, Oct. 27th. “Forever Locked” is a life-size, museum-quality taxidermy exhibit depicting two moose with their antlers locked. The rare, natural event occurred near Fowlertown, an early settlement in Gile State Forest on Route 4 in Springfield, NH. It portrays two bull moose that permanently locked antlers while dueling, causing their deaths. The exhibit is the property of the nonprofit N.H. Locked Moose Antler Project, Inc. The exhibit is funded and supported by many sponsors, donors, contributors, and partners.
Forever Locked will be on display at the Flying Goose Pub from noon – 6:00 PM.
