An inmate at the Southern State Correctional Facility was charged with two unrelated crimes on Wednesday. Timothy Allen Wainwright was first charged with being in possession of a controlled narcotic and transportation of a regulated drug into a correctional facility. Wainwright was cited to appear in Windsor County Criminal on Oct. 31st, to answer to the charges
The second charge came later on Wednesday when Wainwright was charged with being a fugitive from justice. Vermont State Police said Wainwright currently has three outstanding felony warrants from the State of New Hampshire.
Two of the arrest warrants may be out of Lebanon where two known arrest warrants were issued. One was an extraditable arrest warrant, issued for Wainwright by Lebanon Police in February for theft of various merchandise from the West Lebanon Wal-Mart.
Lebanon Police issued a second warrant in March for an $800.00 theft from Kohl’s with Frank Merrell from Goshen NH. Merrell taken into custody but Wainwright escaped.
Wainwright was cited to appear in Windsor County District Court on September 19th to answer to the charge of being a fugitive from justice.
