Two US Marshal’s NH Fugitive of the Week are in custody.  U.S. Marshals said they found Jerry Roberts 33, of Lebanon NH hiding under a bed and James Smith 36 of Franklin hiding in a barn.  Roberts and Smith each had multiple warrants according to authorities.

On Monday, Roberts was found hiding under a bed at a Lebanon apartment on Mount Support Road.  Roberts had warrants for failing to maintain his sex offender registration and a parole violation. His criminal record includes a conviction for aggravated felonious sexual assault.

Jerry Roberts was found hiding under the bed with several items placed in front of him to hide him.  Mr. Roberts. Roberts was arrested without incident and released to the Lebanon Police Department.

On Tuesday, Smith was found hiding in the loft of a barn in Franklin. Smith had warrants for a methamphetamine charge, possession of heroin, criminal trespassing, willful concealment and failure to appear in court..

The residents of the home denied knowing James Smith and allowed officers to search the residence. A adjacent barn was also checked and Smith was discovered hiding in the loft. Smith attempted to flee out a window into the arms of law enforcement.
