Ludlow Man Arrested for Multiple Burglaries
elliotA Ludlow VT man was arrest on Friday for multiple burglaries in and around Springfield VT. Springfield police say Ludlow Police along with officers from their department arrested Bradley Elliot for his alleged involvement in the burglaries of Kwik Stop, P & M Auto and the Blackrock Steak House in Springfield, Sam’s Steak House and Okemo Valley Golf Course in Ludlow and the Wellwood Orchard in Weatherfield. The arrest followed a lengthy investigation, coordination and collaboration with the Ludlow Police and Weathersfield Police Departments. Elliott was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000.00 cash or surety bail, and should arraigned in Windsor County Superior Court, Criminal Division today. (Monday Dec 19)

West Lebanon Woman Pulled Beneath Tractor Trailer
A West Lebanon woman was snagged and pulled beneath a tractor trailer truck on Saturday. The freelance photographer was dragged over 100 feet in the Bugbee Senior Center parking lot. Luckily, she was basically unscathed. The woman was taken to the hospital and released. The driver of the truck told Hartford Police he never saw her.

Poultney Teen Arrested in Shooting Death
A Poultney teen was arrested for the shooting death of another teen on Sunday. Vermont State Police allege William Bailey 19, shot Daniel Hein 19, with a semi-automatic handgun. According to police Bailey, Hein, Dylan Czarnecki 21, and Jonathan Testa 21, were all in a vehicle parked in a driveway on Roberts Avenue prior to the shooting. Czarnecki and Testa left the scene prior to police arriving. Bailey was taken into custody and charged with manslaughter and lodged on no bail. Czarnecki was located and taken into custody on probation violations. The Vermont State Police Troop B and Vermont Major Crime Unit are investigating the case.
