demersOn September 12, 2016, Lebanon Police Patrol and Detective Units, in cooperation with the New Hampshire Drug Task Force, received intelligence that John “Justin” Demers, age 38, last known to be living on Mascoma Street in Lebanon, was travelling from White River Junction, Vermont to Lebanon with a quantity of heroin. At approximately 5:27pm, Patrol and Detective units located a vehicle on Dulac Street in which Demers was a passenger.
During an investigation subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, it was determined that Demers was in possession of 3 bags of Heroin, a small quantity of Marijuana and Suboxone.
Demers was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession of a Narcotic Drug, both Class B Felony charges, and one count of a Class A Misdemeanor, Possession of Marijuana. Bail was set in the amount of $25,000 cash. He was unable to post bail and was held at the Grafton County House of Corrections awaiting arraignment in the Lebanon District Division, New Hampshire Second Circuit Court on September 13, 2016.
