A Lebanon man was arrested on Wednesday for a robbery in Claremont on Sunday. Claremont Police say witnesses, and surveillance tape identified Brenden Harriman 18 as the man who forcibly took a woman’s purse in Hannaford’s parking lot and then fled on foot. The woman said she was putting groceries in her car when the when the theft happened.
Harriman was held without bail at the Sullivan County House of Corrections until his arraignment in Claremont District Court on Thursday. At his arraignment, Mr. Harriman’s bail was set at $5000.00 cash bail. The Lebanon Police Department, Arrowhead Motors, Dunkin Donuts, and the store managers at Hannaford Supermarket aided the Claremont Police Department in this investigation
