VSP Seek Information On Chainsaw Thefts
Vermont State Police are seeking information on theft of several Husqvana chain saws. Police say the chain saws were taken from a storage unit at Absolute Power Sports in Newbury Vt. on Tuesday. Absolute Power is offering a $500.00 reward for any information leading to the conviction of the person/persons responsible for the theft. Awards for Sunapee Firefighters
At their annual dinner, Sunapee Fire Department gave our numerous awards. Captain of the Tanker Company, Richard Osborne received the Firefighter of the Year Award for his years of dedicated service. Captain and EMT 1 Steven Marshall was presented with a pin and certificate for his 20 years of service with the Department.
Rhonda Gurney was selected as the Sunapee Citizen of the Year. Ms. Gurney was selected for her long-term service to the Town on the Recreation Committee. Ms Gurney was instrumental in establishing the Sunapee Green-Up Day, as well as the Magic in the Harbor activities.
Lebanon Drivers May Face Delays
Drivers in Lebanon may face minor traffic delays for the next week starting today. Avery Sweeping will be street sweeping in Lebanon and West Lebanon. Officials ask that residents not deposit yard waste in streets or ditches. The work will take place for the next week including nights and weekends until complete.
