Dominican Man Pleads Guilty to Re Entering US Illegally
A Dominican Republic man pleaded guilty to a three-count indictment charging him with illegally re-entering the United States on Wednesday. Gerpis Pena had been previously deported and was arrested last November at the Manchester Department of Motor Vehicle for misrepresenting a social security number, and falsely claiming to be a U.S. citizen. Pena had in his possession a birth certificate purportedly issued in Puerto Rico, a social security card, and a previously issued New Hampshire driver’s license. Pena will be sentenced at 10:00 AM on August 1, 2016, and will be deported after serving his sentence.
Tilton Man Charged with Fentanyl Sales
A Tilton man was arrested on Monday for selling fentanyl. Police arrested Justin Hendley 33, of 154 E. Main Street after Tilton detectives searched his room at the residence and yielded substantial evidence to the sale and distribution of drugs. Detectives said more charges maybe be forthcoming.
