Lebanon police arrested a man after he they found him passed out from huffing “Dust Off”. Police say an officer went to the Colonial Plaza parking lot after receiving a complaint of a man huffing in his car. Upon arrival, the officer found Christopher Auld 26 passed out in his vehicle with several cans of “Dust Off” inside. When Corporal Brown attempted to wake the Auld, he grabbed a can of the compressed air and started to inhale the vapors. Brown ordered the man to stop and tried taking the can away from Auld, when Auld slammed the door and continued to huff. Auld struggled with the Corporal as he tried to arrest him, causing the officer to call for back up.
Lebanon Fire Chief, Chris Christopoulos was in the area and assisted with securing Auld in handcuffs. During the struggle, Brown used OC Spray trying to gain control of Auld.
Auld was evaluated at the scene and charged with Simple Assault on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Inhaling Toxic Vapors for Effect. Auld is being held at the Grafton County House of Corrections on $2,500 cash bail and is expected to be arraigned in the morning
