Say Good-Bye to Hanover’s Information Booth
Information booths may be going the way of the phone booth. The Dartmouth College and Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce Information Booth will not be on the Green this spring.
After many conversations, and a few years of statistics gathering it became apparent that the booth no longer serves the purpose.
More people are using their smartphones instead of stopping to ask enough questions to warrant a person in the booth each day.
Information kiosks are installed in the new hub by the Hopkins Center to help guests navigate the area.
