Trump Draws Record Crowd in Claremont
Presidential Candidate Donald Trump set a record for the crowd at Stevens High School on Tuesday night. About 1,600 people attended Trump’s rally at the high school in Claremont on Tuesday. Many attendees braved the freezing temperatures and stood in the lines for over 2 hours like Debbie Bartholomew of Springfield VT. Bartholomew said she plans of voting for Trump and so do many other Vermonters.
Trump addressed the crowd on building the wall, second amendment, and NH’s drug problem. When asked by an audience member about women meeting the same fitness requirements for serving in the service, Trump turned the answer to the crowd.
Trump’s next appearance in New England will be in Burlington on Thursday.
Hemingway Endorses Trump Takes Co-Chair Position
Andrew Hemingway once a supporter of Ted Cruz endorsed Donald Trump for President on Tuesday. At the Claremont NH rally, Hemingway said Donald Trump has the strong campaign infrastructure needed to win in NH.
Hemingway will play a key role in assisting the campaign as a state co-chair in New Hampshire.
Hemingway served as the state director for Newt Gingrich’s 2012 presidential campaign, and he is a former chair of the New Hampshire Republican Liberty Caucus. He is currently the CEO of TheMountain.com, a New Hampshire-based business that employs over 200 Granite Staters.
