Governor To Visit West Lebanon Today
hassonGovernor Maggie Hassan will be in West Lebanon this morning. The Governor will speak at the River Park West Lebanon Groundbreaking Ceremony at 173 North Main Street. The Governor is expected to highlight how the development and conservation project will help boost New Hampshire’s economy and maintain the Granite State’s high quality of life. River Park is a 7-phase development, scheduled to be completed over 10-15 years. The event starts at 10:00 am

Memorial Service for Jeryl Frankenfield
A memorial service for Hanover’s Deputy Fire Chief Jeryl Frankenfield is being held at 10:00 am this Saturday, at The Church of Christ at Dartmouth College in Hanover. Frankenfield passed away on Sept 13 while under hospice care at Alice Peck Day Hospital. In lieu of flowers, to honor Jerry, memorial gifts may be made to the Richard D. Baughman Fund in Dermatology at Dartmouth Hitchcock.
Uniformed personnel are requested to assemble at the Hanover Fire Station located at 48 Lyme Road at 8:00 am.

Bellows Falls Police Say – Lock Your Cars
The Bellows Falls Police Department is reminding residents to lock their vehicles at night. The police say they are currently investigating several vehicle break-ins in the Forrest Street and Center Street neighborhoods. Although the police do have a suspect and their investigation continues. If anyone has information regarding this investigation, please contact the Bellows Falls Police at 802-463-1234.

Fugitive Task Force Seeks Robert Anthony Force
The District of New Hampshire – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is assigned to locate and arrest federal fugitive, Robert Anthony Johnson. Johnson is wanted for supervised release violations, from a conviction and sentence for Bank Robbery. Johnson was last known to reside in the Keene, NH area, where he has family, friends and associates. If you have any information about the whereabouts, or have seen a person that resembles Johnson, please contact the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, or your local police. Graniteville VT Woman Victim of Theft
A Graniteville Vermont woman became a victim of theft and vandalism while she was hiking Groton VT State Park. Police say someone broke the passenger side of Melissa Austin’s vehicle and stole her I-Phone, LL Bean Bag and purse between 12:20 and 3:15 pm. Anyone with any information should contact Trp. Nielsen Files for Mayor
Claremont’s Incumbent Mayor Jim Nielsen filed on Wednesday to keep his office, joining a field of three challengers A.J. Maranville, Charlene Lovett, and Kyle Messier. Asst Mayor Victor Bergeron filed to retain his office with no challengers so far. Three people are seeking the Councilor at large office, incumbent Councilmen Nick Koloski Allen Damren and Abigale Carman. Current Councilor Carolyn Towle has to retain her seat as Ward One Councilor and Scott Pope has filed for Ward Two Councilor. David Roark has registered for Ward One Clerk. No one has yet filed for Councilor for ward three, or Ward Clerk for wards two and three. Claremont residents can file for offices through Friday at City Hall for the November 3, Municipal Elections.
