Swanzey Couple Taken in Custody
Keene WantedNH State Police arrested Ryan Williams and his wife Amanda Williams of Swanzey in separate incidences. It was just last week that State Police issued a press release seeking the whereabouts of the Swanzey couple who had state and federal warrants for their arrests. Police say Amanda Williams was taken into custody in Manchester on Monday on a state warrant for Possession of a Controlled Drug. Ryan Williams was taken into custody at a Washington Street address in Keene at noon today. Mr. Williams was wanted on a state bench warrant for non-appearance and a federal warrant for Possession of a Controlled Drug with the Intent to Distribute. Controlled drugs were seized during the operation, resulting in additional charges against Williams. Ryan Williams is being held at the Cheshire County House of Corrections pending arraignment in federal court in Concord.

Bradford NH Fugitive Arrested in VT
A Bradford NH man wanted by US Marshalls for a parole violation was arrested in Ludlow VT last Friday. Members of the Vermont State Police who are part of the VT Marshalls Fugitive Task Force arrested Richard Decelle, without incident. Decelle was on parole for a conviction and sentence for Assault by strangulation.

Erosion Protection Hearing for Cornish Bridge
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will hold a Public Officials Meeting in Cornish on Friday, July 31. The meeting and public hearing is to discuss the placement of stone erosion protection around the Cornish Windsor Covered Bridge over the Connecticut River. DOT will present citizens and public officials with the latest information on the proposed project, and solicit public input. The meeting is scheduled for 3:00 pm in the Cornish Town Hall. Governor Hassan Visits Area
Governor Maggie Hassan continues her “Innovate NH” Tour with a visit to Hypertherm today. While there, the Governor will tour the facility, visit with employees and discuss the need to pass a fiscally responsible, balanced budget. Governor Hassan will also attend the Governor and Council Breakfast at 8:00 am and preside over the Governor and Council meeting at 10:00 am at the Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site in Cornish.

Work on Bridge Street in W.Lebanon
Starting today, Wednesday, July 22, the NHDOT will be working on Bridge Street in West Lebanon. The work will have an impact on traffic with alternating one-way traffic between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM for the remainder of the week. Expect delays according to the amount of the traffic. Orange VT Man Arrested for Buglary

Vermont State Police arrested an Orange VT man after he kicked in a door and entered a residence in Newbury VT. Police say when they arrived they found 32-year-old Steven Farnham who said he was looking for his wife. Farnham was taken into custody for Burglary and Unlawful Mischief and lodged at NERC for lack of $5000 bail.
