Police Search for Missing Mother and Children

The Rindge Police are asking the public’s help in locating a missing mother and her three children. Police say they are concerned about the welfare of Holly J. Aho34, and her three children, Nathan 14, Emily 9, and Rylan 1 ½ years. Police say they are missing from their home in Rindge and their last contact was on social media on Monday, June 8, 2015. Holly and her children may be traveling in New England. Police believe she is driving her green 2004 Nissan Altima four-door sedan NH Plate 1859691. Two VT Charged in Another Robbery
Ludlow Police Department charged two men with an armed robbery in February of a Shell gas station. After a four month investigation with the Springfield VT police they charged Matthew Martin 30 of Weathersfield VT and George Tarbell 30, of Jamaica VT. Martin was charged with Assault and Robbery and Tarbell was charged with Aiding in the Commission of a Felony. Both men were charge on Tuesday by Springfield police for their alleged part in the robberies of the Windsor Credit Union and Citizens Bank. Both Martin and Tarbell are incarcerated in the Southern State Correctional Facility on unrelated charges. Each will appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on multiple dates.

Sullivan County Finance Committee Meets Today
The Sullivan County Executive Finance Committee will review and approve final changes to the County budget today at 4:30 pm. The public meeting is in Newport at the Remington Woodhull County Complex. Other County business may be discussed during this meeting.

VT State Police Confirm Jason Kendall’s Identity
Vermont State Police on Thursday confirmed the body of a man who shot and killed himself Wednesday after a high-speed Chase in Kansas was identified as Jason Kendall. Police said Kendall took his life with a .243 caliber rifle was found in his 1996 Acura and is believed to be the same weapon used in the Murder of Molly Helland on Monday. An arrest warrant for second-degree murder was issued for Kendall early Tuesday morning after an investigation into Molly Helland’s murder. Helland had recently broken off with Kendall and was on her way to obtain a restraining order when she was murdered. Police say they continue to investigate the case with multiple law enforcement agencies in VT, NH, MA and the mid west.

Lebanon Seeks Input on Airport Master Plan
Lebanon is asking the public’s input for Lebanon’s Airport Master Plan. The city is hoping citizens will take a few minutes to review facts and take a survey on line on the Lebanon Airport’s web page. Data collected from the survey will help the Lebanon community draft a mission and vision statement for the Airport Master Plan.
