Subaru of Claremont Gives $10,000 Worth of Love
For its Share The Love event Subaru of Claremont donated $10,014 to Jan Bunnell of Claremont Soup Kitchen. Each year Subaru of America and its dealers team up to donate $250 for every new Subaru sold from the day after Thanksgiving through Dec. 31. “This year’s event was a tremendous success and we were extremely happy to be able to keep so much of the money local,” said Peter Mans.
Jan Bunnell said she couldn’t believe the amount, and the large donation will be a tremendous help especially for none food items especially diapers.
The Claremont Soup Kitchen was established in 1983 and Bunnell has added services for those in need such as a medical clinic, legal assistance and substance abuse aid. Bunnell said she is thankful for the donation and noted Peter Man is a great guy.
This is the 7th year that Subaru has done the event and since 2007 has donated over $50 million through its annual Share The Love event.
